I didn't like her shoe-horn relationship with Mr Pink.

Yeah, that was pretty crappy writing, IMO. It seemed like a relationship that just came out of nowhere.

I did quite like the season finale, though. And I really liked the special with River.

I just felt like the relationship made no sense, lol.

Oh my gosh. I think this is the first time I've had such a strong difference of opinion with you on something Who related. (Especially over Danny. I love Danny. I loved Danny and Clara, even more on rewatch. I cried like a baby during their christmas special goodbye ( ... )

I had to laugh at this post - mostly because you are right, we don't often disagree on Who things and because I can't really quantify why I don't like 12.

I am delighted that you do like him, that you se depth and growth in his character and that this doctor is as enjoyable, and that Clara works with 12 for me.

I haven't watched any more Who since I posted this, and I'd like to see the dynamics you do with 12. Maybe I will.

Oh, you *have* to finish watching, tari_roo, because if nothing else, there's a scene in the Christmas special I want to gush at you about.

(Though please feel free to skip 'Sleep No More', the first episode of the Moffat era IMO that ever rivals the random "how did that even get made" random badness that'd pop up on occasion in the RTD era. Not that Moffat's era hasn't had a few clunkers, just not THAT kind of clunker. It's totally inconsequential to the larger season, thankfully)
