*waves* Dear Auntmo, how awesome to hear from you :)
I am definitely counting down to Cap as well :D and I think between Iron Man 3 and Thor 2, I'll have plenty to watch. Gosh.. that was an awesome movie *swoons*
Well, that's good to hear! I've been dithering on seeing it. On the one hand, MCU. On the other, I'm not all that attached to Thor, and wouldn't mind seeing it on DVD instead. But back on the first hand, it's gonna be a long time until Winter Soldier. Decisions, decisions.
In other news, how are you? It's been a while since we've chatted!

Hope you've been well.
I got to see it too! Really enjoyed it!
It had a real Dr Who feel to it
Don't tell me this! I dont need another fandom!
Only five months until the new Captain America movie :)

Hiya! I'm managing - RL continues to be a drain, alas. How are you? Still in the UK?
As for Thor, may I submit the following as:
Reason for Claudiapriscus to see Thor: The Dark World
1. Awesome worldbuilding (as much as one can in a 2 hour movie), but yowza. Gorgeous
2. Dr Who underthemes i.e. Dark Elves who look a lot like Cybermen, No Nine, London being invaded by aliens.
3. Darcy \o/
4. Loki vs Everyone else banter.
5. Avenger Cameo/references
6. London :)
Things to take note of (as they may induce eye rolling):
1. Jane Foster reduced to damsel in distress (until last 15 minutes)
2. Handwaving of plot points
Conclusion: Watch it with low expectations and enjoy the ride :)
