Will you still keep it though? In case the new one needs repair, so you can still access the internet?
I still have my first one, bought in 2002 and it lasted till 2012 when I bought the one I own now. The old one was Windows XP and now I have Windows 7. I kinda skipped Vista as I had heard so many bad things about it.

The old one originally had 40 GB space on the hard drive and then I let another 80 GB build in... but once I started to like John Barrowman, that was not nearly enough ;) The new one originally had 500 GB but they already were full again so I upgraded to 1 TB.

Yep, I'll keep the old one as a back up definitely. My new one has 1TB drive as well and its marvelous!! :)

Oh, luckily my old laptop is still alive, but is in need of retirement as the poor old dear has worked very hard over the last few years. :)
