Queen saphirablue has requested a week of squee, and as a loyal subject, I am happy to comply :)

I may have mentioned in previous posts that crossovers (and the quest to find crossovers) is what led me to fanfic and fandom all those years ago *feels old* so this week of squee shall be a celebration of the delights of being fandom: fanfic! fanart! gifs! ( Read more... )

Oh, a good crossover is just - a rare gem. lets see if I can find some of my favourites. Hhm, anything b Vathara, I love the Gundam Wing/ SG1 crosses, especially "Upon a fiery Steed". That one rocks. What else: Wordsofthewitch has written a whole universe of awesome crossing SPN and Sons of Anarchy. Definitely worth checking out. Unfortunately her LJ is friends-only, but Dean and Jax, so delicious. (Warning: Spoiler! -> also major character death) Also check out Martha Wilsons stories on Watergate LJ (also under pseudonym Victoria Custer). She is not active anymore, but she wrote great alternate universe SG1/ SGA crossovers. And how could I forget hells_half_acre on LJ, also AO3. She wrote several fantastic SPN/ HP crosses. Virtual Personal (on LJ) currently writes and is almost finished with a very nice crossover of SPN/BTVS; Dean and Spike superbly done ( ... )

Oh man. I can't believe I missed this. (Darn you, dealer school!) I rarely go looking for fan art, so I miss so much awesomeness! The League of Avenging Gentlemen was awesome and I loved the Cinderella & TARDIS one and the Avatar one was great (Katara's face!)

Sadly, all the fic crossovers you rec'd (at least the ones in my fandoms) I've already read. (And I am flattered to be included in such company!) Did you know Tassosss is finishing T3? I seriously cannot wait.

I know, I was kinda sad at how short my crossover list on delicious was... there are more but they are even older. Really?? She is??? Hurrah! \o/
