My post earlier tonight has triggered another sci fi related post. Sci fi fans, what weird/crazy/lame/cool/awesome sci fi shows have you watched over the years? I don't mean the mainstream shows, I mean the cable shows, the ones that relied on acting and sets rather than special effects. The short lived. The brief flashes of giddy daylight.

Does Firefly count? Such an awesome show, but only one season :( (Though it did beget the movie :) )
The weirdest non-mainstream show I watched was Lexx. It somehow lasted a bunch of seasons even though I don't think it was very popular.

One show I loved (and still love) is "Raumpatrouille Orion". It's a German/French show, though (actually the only German show I love) and I'm not sure how well-known it is in other countries. There were only seven episodes in this series, but it's still legend around here. It's from 1965 and in black and white, and the special effects are a lot worse than those of Star Trek TOS. *g*
