Along that note, obnoxious Rob/Rae shippers in my beloved Teen Titans fandom really irking me lately. I must have added at least three or four new pages to my wank collection. Had a lot of fun mocking the last quote I just pasted. Still giving me headaches.

Aaaaand Numb3rs continues to be awesome, as evidenced by last week's awesome WHAM episode and this week's follow-up, with next week's proving to be a WHAM episode too.
SO LIEK, DON ACTUALLY GOT STABBED LAST WEEK. STABBED BY A GUY WHO SNUCK UP ON THEM DURING A RAID. AND CHARLIE WAS ALL BLAMING HIMSELF AND HIS "FAULTY" MATH ANALYSIS AND BEING ANGSTY AND STUFF. AND SO WAS NIKKI AND THEN SHE AND LIZ HAD AN EPIC AWESOME CONVERSATION ABOUT HOW BLOODY MUCH LIZ WORRIED ABOUT HIM BACK IN THE DAYS WHEN THEY WERE DATING. (MY SHIPPER'S HEART STILL MISSES THOSE TIMES.) AND THERE WAS MUCH WORRYING OF THE FAMILY AROUND DON'S BEDSIDE. AND ROBIN WAS ALL CUTELY ANXIOUS AND WORRIED ABOUT HER DON AND HOLY CATS I LOVE HER SO MUCH. I USED TO HATE HER, I REALLY DID, WHEN I GOT BACK FROM MY LONG NUMB3RS HIATUS AND WAS ALL LIKE, "WAIT A MINUTE-WHO'S THIS GIRL, AND WHY IS SHE WITH DON?" BUT THEN SHE WAS AWESOME! AND TOLD OFF A SUSPECT WITH A COMPLETELY PWNSOME SPEECH THAT I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER RIGHT NOW BUT WAS SO GREAT I LITERALLY POINTED AT THE SCREEN AND SAID "NOW I LIKE HER!" PROVING THAT ONE CAN INDEED OVERCOME ONE'S INTIAL SHIPPER BIASES.
So... I sort of ship Don/Ladies now?
THE WRITERS OF NUMB3RS MADE ME LOVE A CHARACTER I PREVIOUSLY HATED!
Because Numb3rs is awesome like that.
ANYWAY DON DIDN'T DIE. (SURPRISE SURPISE) AND THEY CAUGHT THE GUY RESPONSIBLE OF COURSE, AND TURNS OUT CHARILE'S MATH MODEL WASN'T WRONG AFTER ALL.
And then this week's episode was good too. Charlie went and did his whole obsessive math thing to cope with Don's stabbing 'cause he's dysfuntional and screwed up like that. (But we love him for it!) And then I LOL-ed long and hard when David of all people asked to explain the sprinkler system hot spot model from the first season omgcontinuityspasm to Nikki. And Charlie and Amita continued to be the utterly cute couple they are.
CREEPY AT THE END THOUGH. CREEPY LIKE A DARK EPISODE OF CSI.
And then the next week's previews... holy cow... some guy from like last season or two seasons ago who used to be an FBI dude (need to refresh my memory on exactly who he is but I think last time we saw him he was commiting felony electronic robbery to frame this one kid) crops up again in a string of bank robberies. Juicy stuff I'm sure, were I not distracted by AMITA APPARENTLY GETTING GRABBED BY BADDIES OHNO WHILE CHARLIE LIES ON THE GROUND WITH A GASH IN HIS HEAD!! *gasphorrorsandshock*
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AMITA DON'T DIE! DON'T DIE! YOU AND CHARLIE ARE TOO CUTE A COUPLE FOR YOU TO DIE!
Oh okay I guess I'm not too worried. This isn't LOST after all, which revels in killing characters and changing the status quo every week. Heck, they brought Larry back from being absent for a season on the space station (in-universe explanation, no joke) and Colby back from seemingly having betrayed the U.S. as a double agent for China. Even Meagan got a lot of build-up before her send-off at the end of last season. (We still miss you Meagan! Come back and re-join the Awesome Coalition of Kickass Numb3rs Ladies plz!) They generally like to keep everyone together and happy and drama free.
Still resent them for making me worry like this all the freaking time.
