Incapable of Adding a Photo

So - I was feeling quite proud of myself... Actually got organized enough to down load the pictures of Target from the camera to the computer. Just tried to upload into LJ but I can't seem to make them fit the file size requirements. Any help/advice is appreciated.

They have to be 100x100 max. Do you have Paint? You can use the Sketch/Skew and Attributes options under Image to get a picture down to the proper size to load into LJ. I usually save mine as jpegs in Paint before uploading here.

They need to be 100X100 pixels, and no more than 40K. You can use Microsoft Paint to crop a picture to that size, if you like. I've been using Paint Shop Pro, which I find keeps the pictures in better shape. YOu can get a free trial version (I believe it's good for 30 days) from Jasc Software.

If you like, you can e-mail me your pictures, and I'll crop/resize you a icon-size portion of it. Unfortunately, adding text is beyond me. One of these days I'll take the hours necessary to figure out how to get nice looking text on them, but in the meantime, I've gotten okay at creating the base pictures.
