To be honest, I didn't think the makeup was too horrible. Not great, but I'm not sure what else they could have done...? Just glad the epilogue was included and used the same actors.
What I DID like about the kiss was that is was more passionate than ANY of Harry's kisses, especially considering his kisses are the only ones we've gotten. So I was okay with not seeing their faces. :D
The makeup WAS ridiculous. BUT Harry's convo with Albus made the squeamishness go away for me, because they were EPICALLY cute together.
There wasn't enough McGonagall for me I'm afraid, I'm quite sad that the mental image of her marshalling charging desks will have to remain a mental image. But meh, they left in most of my favourite lines and they usually make a point of not doing so.
I'm left wondering if there have been any letters of complaint regarding the lack of nudity though.
