This story was fantastic. It was well thought out and well told. I was happy that all the chapters and that I could read the whole story in one go. It's so much more satisfying to get totally immersed in a plot then to read 300 words a day for 60 days. I couldn't tear myself away from this one!

Thank you so much! And yeah, I get a bit twitchy reading WIPs, too. :)

I'll preface this with the fact that I've actually never rewatched CoE; every time I start, I have a mild flip-out, panic attack, something. I've never had that reaction to a story, really- and so I had to stop after reading the first part and come here and comment because I read that last section and started tearing up. You captured Ianto- and Lois, as the observer- perfectly. Despite not having been able to watch it again, I think CoE was a wonderful piece of storytelling because it affected me that deeply- and you just poured salt on the wound in the most perfect of ways. I'm about to go back and read the rest and I can't wait. :D

Oh WOW. I am full of such emotions after finishing that- hope, and joy, and sadness and regret, and this sense of this circle being unbroken. I really really love how you wove together all those snippets of history, and how seamlessly all the elements fit together- I mean, the series itself still has to actually carry through with the '21st century, where everything changes' bit, and you did it rather flawlessly. And you brought the story not necessarily to an end, but to a beginning with all these glorious possibilities.

(It's late and I should go to bed because I'm rambling. But <3!)

Oh, thank you! I'm so glad it affected you this way -- while CoE may not have been the story I wanted to see, I have an immense amount of respect for the quality of the storytelling itself and the story it did tell, so it's wonderful to hear that this worked for you.

And you brought the story not necessarily to an end, but to a beginning with all these glorious possibilities.
See, this, this was exactly what I was trying to do. Thank you so much.

Wow. This is such an awesome story, I loved the way you wrote everyone and the way you wrapped in so many loose ends to make one lovely story.
