EEEEEEIIIIIIIII! You're making even MORE music? WOW. You are my hero because... I really wish I could compose, but sadly I was cursed with the abilities of a lyricist, and a good musical ear (I sing and play a little piano), but without a whit of ingenuity musically myself, so you are just a mad genius to make music for me! :D I flatter myself, I know,a nd for that I aplogize...

Really love the 'Last of the Empaths' theme, it's great. Can't wait to see how the real version sounds, if you end up making one that is. 'Hidden in the Closet' amused me because you really overdid the creepiness and I always thought I sort of failed at making that scene intense enough, so... many kudos to you for fixing that!

I read Chapter 3 today with that soundtrack going, just to see how it would work, and it really was creepy. The creaky noises started just when the Doctor started to talk to the robot. The track definitely added to the experience.

Heh...

I'm glad you're liking it so far :). If you ask me, the beginning is probably the best part... the end, well, the end IS pretty epis *coughcough* but the end-end is... kind of a fail, but I think it does actually work in my character development, although I did deviate from my original idea... Meh, happens all the time, and what can you do? Characters do stupid things without the author ever actually intending for it to happen that way :D.

I PROMISE there were no spoilers there, just self-critical authoress rambling...

Anyway, yeah, I gathered that the creaky noises are meant to be the robot self-destructing, which totally works in my book :). And... technically it IS my book ^_^.

I'm really excited about this soundtrack--you threw the mods for a bit of a loop, because we had to figure out how to present songs when we'd never done them before, but I think it's tremendously creative and lots of fun. That chapter 3 track works perfectly, and I like the other one a lot, although I haven't read enough of the story to completely get it. We're all looking forward to hearing the rest!

Thanks :) And yes they're designed as actual soundtrack - mapped with the action as I see it laid out so if you haven't read the chapter you might not get it (also the other one obvs isn't finished yet). Like when you read chapter 3 with the music playing...right on the money! :D
