I am trying so fucking hard to not learn what happens in Game of Thrones. I'm about 100 pages from the end of book 1, and then there's book 2, and then book 3, and THEN I can finally find out!

I wish you the best of luck with this endeavor, and I'll be extra careful to avoid spoilers in my LJ and facebook to support you. The situation where I've gotten spoiled most often was reading something that I thought was going to be just about the latest episode of the show but ended up containing spoilers for future books, so be careful about looking at commentary that's ostensibly about stuff you know. Also memes with people talking about their favorite characters. And Fandom March Madness.
