Hee, Susan hiding behind the sofa! I can understand Susan wanting to leave Earth after spending two regenerations there.

This is an unusual sort of fic, but really good. I like it. (Although, is the Rani ever this sympathetic??) Nice work, though.

I think if it's someone that the Rani actually cares about she'd be sympathetic. Also I'm thinking this is perhaps a different regeneration of her then we've seen on TV.

You got them both down pat and perfect.

I imagine Susan's quandry, if left alone, could all-too-easily have ossified into the state of tradition-loving that the Doctor and Rani hate about Gallifrey. YAY to the Rani for rescuing Susan from that.

this was a charming story; thank you for this.

ps: photos, eh. good thing the TARDIS is bigger on the inside, given Time Lord lifespans. ;)

I wonder what happened to Susan, did she ever leave Earth? Go back to Gallifrey? I think it'd be easy for her to just stay there. When I got your prompt the idea of the Rani picking Susan up from Earth just stuck in my head though.

(My personal canon is that there's at least one room of the TARDIS dedicated to pictures. Perhaps something off of the library.)

Susan and the Rani probably went off to have lots of mad adventures as they figured out how to live with each other.
