I'm sorry about your grandmother. Apartment hunting is a different kind of suck-- there's a reason I'm heading into my third year of Little Slanty Apartment.

Take care of yourself. You were not distant at Alpha. You were friendly and mature. You're doing a lot, asking a lot of yourself, and stretching a lot, it seems like-- it makes sense that one or two of the stretches will ache.

I am an aussie in Montreal - we should catch up sometime! I live right near metro laurier on the plateau and I go to Concordia. Always up for making new friends, shoot me an email sometime! I know exactly what it's like hunting for an apartment here. It's not quite as bad as it is back in Melbourne but still, hunting for an apartment sucks. I am not really a fan of the apartment that I live in, but it's in a great location, so I guess that helps. I've been around since december so if you need a hand with finding anything or general "montreal-from-a-foreigner's-perspective" type stuff just let me know!
