For now, I will say only that I have new hair, got my very first passport, and am going to England in November!

Picture!I'll be flying there on 11/20-11/21 (overnight flight), and flying home on 11/29 ( Read more... )

I'll echo the Science Museum suggestion... that and the Natural History Museum... and the British Library.

Um... any time I've gone to London it's been pretty dedicated to doing a pub crawl or going out to restaurants so I'm not the best guide.

Really I'd suggest seeing whatever it is that you've always wanted to see. If you want to see the changing of the guard, for example, then you go and do it. Being a tourist is pretty cool, revel in it.

Actually, The London Eye gives an excellent view of London; that might be a good idea :o)

I have been told that certain public things close down, so since I'm visiting in November, I might not get to see things like Stonehenge and the castles. Boo!

But I'll try to visit again next summer. That would be nice.

The London Eye? Is that the big ferris wheel? Good idea, I'd like to do that! :D

It is indeed the big ferris wheel :o)

I work for a hotel booking agency so if you're looking at a hotel in London, Oyster cards (a card where just swipe through the London underground and buses and it automatically charges the lowest possible fare for the routes you've travelled that day), vouchers for attractions etc, then I can have a look for you and your friend.

Yay ferris wheels!

Ooh - that would be lovely! :D
I will let you know when it gets a bit closer what kind of stuff we're trying to do. Thanks so much!
