Welcome to reason #12bajillion that I stay away from the shore. Even though the Chesapeake is lovely, it and the Atlantic coastline just aren't reassuring in their safety level. Sad, but true.

I hadn't heard that, but am not suprised. They buried a large stash of chemical weapons in the DC area, and they were found underneath a subdivision a few years back.
