i love stencil tags!!!!!!
i wanna get good at doing them as well...since i have no hope of ever being good at painting, i figure i could use my photoshop skillz to make a physical mark on the world outside of this machine.

I love stencils too these days. I dunno... it's just so black and white.
It's either right, or it's wrong. And if you fuck up, everyone can tell.
Then, on the other hand - it's so simple.

in terms of visualization or technique?
this particular stencil was made from the cardboard backing of a writing pad.
basically i just start with a sketch, and just keep simplifying it until it's barely recognizable. Then, invert it.
It's a strange feeling, working backwards.
