i love stencil tags!!!!!!
i wanna get good at doing them as well...since i have no hope of ever being good at painting, i figure i could use my photoshop skillz to make a physical mark on the world outside of this machine.

I love stencils too these days. I dunno... it's just so black and white.
It's either right, or it's wrong. And if you fuck up, everyone can tell.
Then, on the other hand - it's so simple.

What is your process for making the stencil, seems like you got some good detail in it!

in terms of visualization or technique?
this particular stencil was made from the cardboard backing of a writing pad.
basically i just start with a sketch, and just keep simplifying it until it's barely recognizable. Then, invert it.
It's a strange feeling, working backwards.

Bwaha! This apartment has a balcony - so I did it out there.
I figured it's best not to suffocate myself while doing artwork anymore.
