Just one more week... Well, less now.
Anyway, I'm wondering... Are you going to do NaNoWriMo this year? I signed up today and I've been outlining my story.

No, I'm pretty much always working on a novel (or short stories, or something), so there's not much point in NaNo for me, though I think it's a cool event. I write thousands of words every week anyway, you know?

I just had a thought. You know in Spell Games, when Cam-Cam told Rondeau about the angels that visited his mother? Were those the Thrones? Also, exactly what do the Thrones do in the Marlaverse? Do they actually report back to a higher power?

They certainly could have been thrones -- presumably they're capable of looking more angelic than they did in Bone Shop.

As for what they are... it's an enigma. But they certainly had the power to grant Marla some kind of absolution, to make the Belly Killer nearly unstoppable... but they're ultimately rather mysterious.

In other words, even you don't know what they are :)

Oh, I have some ideas, but it's never been relevant to a story. Maybe someday.
