The first part of my reader-supported novella Bone Shop is online today: Chapter One: In which Marla converses with a pyromaniac, commits some minor crimes, and hears a curious proposition.

A chapter a week may kill me, as I usually nom-nom-nom my way through a Marla book in a couple of days. Maybe I should wait and read the whole thing when it's done? Ha! Not a chance -- I'll be there every Monday.

Sarah over at www.smartbitchestrashybooks.com posted a link to "Bone Shop," so hopefully you'll get some traffic from there and some new readers for the series. There are many urban fantasy readers among the romance reader community.

Well, I have to say, a chapter a week is going to drive me crazy. I just picked up the 4 books in the series and crashed through them in 3 days. I want more! The prequel stuff in interesting but I really want the next book in the series (I need to find out what happens to B and Rondeau! You left that hanging.)

In the mean time, I will gladly read this prequel stories and will donate shortly to keep 'em coming.
