[Link is sitting at the docks, legs dangling over the edge and booted feet just skimming the surface of the loch. It's fairly early in the morning - just after the Watch turnover - and as such it's still dark. It's also pretty cold, and the wind, while not exactly strong, is still quite nippy

[Suzaku was drawn to the music, despite the cold clinging to his body he made his way toward Link's perch. The cloak the green garbed hero wore looked inviting and briefly Suzaku wondered if he might share it. He pushed the thought away though, it was a selfish one after all. Still, Link's music could be shared without guilt, as so the soldier sat himself down beside the hylian and closed his eyes to listen.]

[Link played a few more wandering notes before he set the ocarina down beside him and leaned back on his hands. He tilted his head towards Suzaku, smiling, and then leaned back to look up at the dark, cloudy sky.]

You just get off shift?

[Action]

[Suzaku smiles and shakes his head] I was just distracted by the music. It's really pretty Link.

There is a silence as Suzaku looks across the water] It fills up the silence.

Really? It wasn't anything. Just blowing random notes on it.

[He smiles nonetheless, and closes his eyes.]

Getting a lot colder out.

[He stops a moment, his ears flicking at the sound of her whistling. Then, grinning around the mouthpiece, he tries to blow the same note she's whistling.]

[Link breaks off the note he'd been playing, ears flicking again, and then plays the new notes just a little behind her. He shifts over to give her more room.]
