So far most of the gains made by the cortisone shot have held, with some pain returning to my right arm but nothing like the horrible stabbing pain I had previously. I am glad to hear you've gotten relief. I've been interested in reading of your progress, as my husband seems to be going through this same condition right now. His neck compression causing nerve pain down his right arm. He is currently doing neck traction 4x daily, plus on steroids to reduce the inflammation, plus other meds for pain. If this doesn't help him, then the dr. has some other treatments before going to the cortisone.
