I have a belief that if I grow my own veggies, I'll like 'em better, so I'm in the midst of planting to test that theory. Usually, I have a lot of trouble eating them, except broccoli when some angelic soul cooks it for me.

I tried growing my own veggies once. I found that my fear of insects interfered with this plan. Once I see an insect crawling on my prospective veggies, then I don't want to eat them. It's a phobia I guess.

If I buy them in the health food store I don't have to see bugs crawling on them so I don't have that mental picture in my head when I eat them.

OK, I'm a bit crazy.

But I like the idea of growing them. My family did and I ate them then (because I didn't do the gardening).

I grow flowers instead.
