I really want to start keeping up with this thing better. Sometimes, it's just I don't have that much interesting to say. I was watching Requiem last night and as usual, it broke my heart :( Someday I will learn that Mulder doesn't hear me say that he needs to get away from the light. I TOTALLY agree that an X-Files without Mulder is not X-Files to me. Mulder, Scully, and MSR are what it's all about. And as much as I respect Doggett and Reyes and the attempt it just does not come close. However I do love Scully very nearly as much as I love Mulder, it's just that if you take away the witty/biting give and take between the two of them I lose total interest. Sad, but true.

You hit it dead on! It's the combination of the two that really makes me love them. I don't like episodes much when Scully's not there with Mulder. I mean, it's just something's not right. Their chemistry, their witty banter, all of it is what makes the show what it was. It wasn't the same with doggett and reyes at all, and definitely not with Doggett/Scully.
