PreZ is working on GN right now. It seems that there's an issue getting the machine back up again, so he's on the phone with the co-location place to get things sorted out ( Read more... )

Since he's in there, if he missed the Help section question, there also seems to be something up with the poll feature. It's looking wonky on my browsers as well as other people's.

Do you think Dash has any fiber sensitivities (like wool, etc)?

I'll let him know about the forum poll problem.

Do you think Dash has any fiber sensitivities (like wool, etc)?

Not that I've noticed, and he has 3 pairs of wool shorties that function as diaper covers which he's worn with no adverse reactions.

I'll add that if you're thinking along the lines of something like a hat, that I'd need to give his head measurements, because he's on like the 2nd percentile for his head circumference... he has a wee little head ;)

Indeed, I am tossing around the ideas of a hat. What size-ish do you reckon he's in for soakers and the like? Also smallish? I like to leave the opportunity for the gothling to grow some, but of course don't want things to be too huge.

When I locate the tape measure and can get him to stop squirming long enough, I'll give you some measurements like rise, waist, thighs, inseam, and his head circumference.

But yes, he'll be on the small size of everything. He's only really in the 3-6 month clothes because of his length, not because he's particularly chubby. I bought a couple of onesie extenders for that very reason (plus this way his clothes last a bit longer too).

It was even cheaper than I thought it was, assuming you pay for one year via an automated method such as a credit card... $19.95.

I always hedge about the money when it comes time to renew. Then I think how I could easily blow that $20 on lunch one day and figure I can spare it. I like the extra icons and I like the ability to use a custom mood set. And of course, I like supporting the developers. ;-)

I always complain about how people don't put their money where their mouth is in relation to GN, so I better practise what I preach, right?

Truth is I would have done it sooner, if I didn't keep forgetting.

And to keep up with the trend of putting my money where my mouth is, I subscribed to Caitlín R. Kiernan's new monthly subscription service where she emails 2 stories/vignettes each month for $10. Seeing as authors generally are only a step up from the starving artist range unless they're J.K. Rowling or John Grisham, it's also the least I can do, other than buy her books (which I already do). Seeing as she's been one of my favourite authors for something like 7 years now, I know I'm making a good investment :P
