I seem to have been pretty much hibernating since the end of Satellite 2. The Dead Dog ended when we left after 1am on Monday morning, I got back and slept for a while, waking up at some point (there was daylight) to snaffle some food and then crawled back into bed. Sounds like it was an awesome convention ~ and a great opening :-))

It took me ages to read all the post discworld convention reports and much longer to type up my own lol. Was there live streaming at satelite 2? They had this at the DW Con ~ apparently, if you have internet access you were able to read reports as they were written while still at the con.

A couple of us posted to Twitter in the course of the con, I don't know if anyone did more than that. The opening was quite good; just enough tech to work, not enough to cock everything up. :)

Sounds like it went *really* well, so where did the Russian bit fit (or did you not use it in the end?) Its great everyone enjoyed it so much they want more of the same next year, hope that happens! :)

In the end we didn't do it, for technical reasons; it would have been before the opening ceremony.

It bloody well won't be next year!
