I’ve not had a lot of computer time recently, what with one thing and another, but I did see elance’s food meme, which got me thinking.

The list of foods comes from the BBC and was apparently voted on by people, which could be one reason why everything seems to be so random about it.

That explains a lot - the list really did not read like something which came out of one person’s brain. :)
