Yesterday I went to my old house for the final time, to return the garage door opener and pick up the pruner I wanted. He had left a check for the tools and a note at my apt to put the garage door opener in the mailbox

I don't know if you got my email re:potluck party Friday, but I'm moving away to Chicago in two days. I'd love to see you once more before I go, though at this point I don't have time for anything other than packing dates. I'll be at it nonstop till Monday evening (I'm loading the truck Monday), so give me a ring! Otherwise, I've missed you and I'll still miss you in Chicago!

Hey, ya know, your nail just got stuck under there... and then your hand spasmed and you peeled it off, and then your back decided it hated your temporarily so you wouldn't pick it up, and then it just happened again and again and again...

I miss you - I had a few dreams where we were just hanging out :) guess my subconscious misses you too. If you want to go to dinner once I get back to MN I can regale you with happy stories of baby birds and not-so-baby birds.
