Yesterday we've been at the vet again with Shuray. The (first) wound on her head first seemed to heal pretty well, with only a little red (open, but not bloody) area left. But very unfortunately that area now starts growing again, and also the second wound on her head got bigger again. *sigh

Was mir dazu einfällt: häufig scheinen unter solchen Krankheiten und Diagnosen die Besitzer schlimmer zu leiden, als das betroffene Tier. Wenn ich Shuray sehe, habe ich nicht den Eindruck, als ob es ihr an irgendetwas fehlt. Es geht Ihr gut und mit Dir und Nighty an Ihrer Seite, wird das auch lange lange so bleiben. Da bin ich mir sicher. Also, nimm den Kopf hoch und schau nach vorne. *drückt Dich*

It sounds like it is a bit serious, much like people living with AIDS or HIV now a days. I'm sure she will get used to it and it will become just one of those things she does every so many days. There is a chance that Trisca can get it as well, but as I said before, they are INDOOR cats so they have a MUCH LESS chance of catching something that will cause problems.
I just suggest that if you and Richard come home, wash your hands first before you handle her to mitigate the chances of her catching something from you.
One of my cats had diabetes and even Genesis Whitmore's cat has it, which means daily injections and weekly blood taking...it sucks but cats are wonderful cause they get used to it and in the end there are a whole lot more things that they can have that is a lot worse.
In the end I think everything will turn out to be okay. Give blue eyes a hug from me.
