Excellent story! I've always thought that the most ironic thing about Dean and Hendrickson is that they seem very similar and would probably get along great under different circumstances. You convey that very well in their interactions here.

It was a very interesting concept and I enjoyed the strife you put the boys through... and how they came out in the end. How Dean ended up relying on those calls to keep him sane. Very good job. :)

I'm wondering what he could possibly do to stay sane, while Sammy slips into Darkness. We already know Dean would stick up with him no matter what, but then, with Sam being more and more sick, or more and more uncontrolable ( depending on if he resists it or not ), Dean would be SO lonely.

Damn, the boy needs a hug.

Oh, i love this. I'm hoping *so hard* for Victor to come back on the show - and please don't spoil me if he is! - and this is just perfect...

I think if he really *did* research their cases he'd start to get it. And i think Dean *would* talk to him.

Hendrickson HAS to come back. Dude, it's like, the show now is REALLY getting interesting. Like, everything goes fucking WRONG and they're so screwed ( like they said themselves ) and it could SO go sideways.

That'd be totally fun. I'd love to read a fic where Dean's in prison, and he teaches the con how to hunt, because he figured they'd need new hunters and cons could be good hunters if they chanelled their anger at something vicious and un-human...

Dean so rocks anyway...

loved it. really interesting take on nightshifter. i could see something like this playing out. kind of reminded me of "catch me if you can," where dicaprio and hanks call each other regularly and depend so much on the other even though they're on opposite sides. very nice work.
