Your wedding photos look absolutely gorgeous! :) I'm planning my own wedding soon as well and I'm curious as to any tips you might have?.. Where did you get married, how did you plan it, etc..?
Thank you! We decided to get married on my aunt's property in Pennsylvania because it was a lot cheaper than doing it in New York. It took us a while to settle on a location though, because we wanted some place that our elderly relatives could attend easily, but we also wanted it to reflect US. My dad kept pushing us to get married in a hotel, but I insisted on having an outdoor wedding in the country.
My advice would be to decide early on what is most important to you - and stick to it. Other things can be negotiated as parents and relatives start adding their two cents. Accept that some things may have to change to make other people happy, but don't give up anything that is especially important to you.
Also, don't stress. I allowed the stress to overcome me in the last few weeks before the wedding and it was all for nothing - everything worked out fine in the end.
Sheesh... I wish I could take a comics art class over the summer. It'd give me something to do and it sounds like a whole hell of a lot of fun. I'm sure you were great. AND. Congrats on the wedding! I'm glad to hear nothing went wrong. AND. Holy crap! I'm so excited you're coming to Otakon. (I'm excited about Mangaka America, too). JEEZE. All these awesome people are coming to Otakon. We've all got to get together and go out one night or something. (but not too far from the con center, cause Baltimore is kind of dangerous >.>;;;;)
