My orientation has been rescheduled to 14 July, the day before I leave for Texas. Now I get to take the hour trip to Akron two days in a row. :thumbsup:

Another point of interest: Petland, the shop mentioned here and (to my knowledge) the only place in town that sold ferrets, closed down a couple of weeks ago. I'm really hoping they're just

I had a ferret until he died. his name was Slinky (pardon, I bought him in 3rd grade.) he was my buddy. if you get one, you must let me play with him, if only for a minute.... I miss the squeak sound that ole ferret would make.

I probably won't get one, even though I'd love to. My parents are decidedly against the prospect of having what they call a "furry snake" in the house.
