I hit two cats at the same time last night while driving around with friends. At least one of them died. The lights were off in all the surrounding houses, so I moved its body out of the road to keep it from getting hit again. I don't know where the other cat went, but it wasn't in the road.

I hate driving.

Again, i'm sorry to hear it.. It was an accident and you did everything you could to prevent it. I'm pretty sure the cat you couldn't find would have been taken to a vet by owners / someone who found it, so I wouldn't worry about him, and the cat who didn't make it is probably drinking milk and chasing butterflies in a better place now :) *snughug*
