This will possibly be part of something much longer in a short time, but I really felt compelled to post something now, dammit. So. Forgive its unbetaedness and brevity.

you beautiful thing!

I love looking at Jason, all that time, through Tim's eyes. the flashbacks are perfect, so real live boys and best friends. Jason on the football field is the point where it all pulls together with sadness of hero worship.

Gorgeous stuff.

Jesus, that icon is gorgeous.

I'm so glad you like this! I want there to be more, so normally I wouldn't have posted it already, but I am so behind that I wanted to give you something (and get something out there). Thanks for the lovely prompt.

PS: They are the sniffliest boys, aren't they?

p.s. also! this LJ icon I'm using is called "when we collide we'll see what gets left"

we are secretly twins! I was not expecting that (through the curly hair should have been a giveaway)

Do I want to watch Friday Night Lights? What's it about? Is it any good?

Ohhh, it is so good. It's about high school football players and their coach and the town they live in where everyone's dreams ride on the bodies of these fucked up seventeen-year-old boys, and it's got strong women and screwed up women and slashy women and slashy, slashy, slashy boys, and my friend, I hate teenager shows and I hate football but this is the best series on TV right now bar none.

Give it a shot, at least.

It sounds good - and so many people are recommending it. I'll put it on the dl. But it's not got legs, has it? I mean, these guys will graduate highschool soon, right? Then they move on.

Well, two of the four main teenage boys have at least a year of school to go, and of the other two, one's been out of school most of the year. And the writers say that they have a plan for weaving in new characters as they move up from JV, etc. But yeah, it may not have the longest future. But the season so far has been really worth it, even if it doesn't sustain.
