I'm writing my personal statement and its so hard! I can't do it. I have no idea what to put in it :/ Would anyone like to help me?! There are only so many things i can say about why i want to do biology. What can i write?!

I'm sitting here trying to do the exact same thing (although obviously not Bio!), it's so frustrating. Just concentrate on what you like about the subject, what you might like to study in more depth, why you like it, what makes you perfect as a Bio student (what do your other subjects teach you which is useful for studying Bio). The bit about you is less important..so we've been told. But knowing all that doesn't make it any easier at all. Good luck!

Ugh personal statements:( This time last year I was on my third attempt at writing mine - i agree it's so hard to condense what you want to write into a few lines - Just try to keep to the point, use descriptive lingo, and let them know what it is that interests you about bio, and any work experience or trips you've taken(if relevant.), and basically since you'll be competing against loads of other students for uni places, you need to really "sell yourself" as my teacher said lol.
