Before I Was A Mom
Before I was a Mom, I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom, I had never been puked on. Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

Earlier today Mrs FJH and I were sitting with baby grandson between us.
Its amazing. He is a total bundle of love.
If he needed a kidney, a liver, a heart right now....he could have mine. It blows my mind.
In so many material ways (career etc) I am a total absolute failure but in this one area of my life.....I am very very blessed.
