I love this! It's actually a column by Mary Schmich in the Chicago Tribune back in 1997. Pumatok siya so Baz Luhrmann set it to music.

My classmates were chanting it by heart one time, so I got a copy from my seatmate (the Baz Luhrmann song) and I've memorised some parts since then. My favourite bit is, "Don't waste time on jealousy. Sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind. The race is long, but in the end, it is only with yourself." =P

hay nako jez! i have to thank you haha! si alej kasi one year ago sabi niya search ko daw yung song about sunscreen. narinig daw niya on the radio and magugustuhan ko raw.
