I'm sure many of you already know this clip, for others it may be a bit of a head-scratcher.  This is Mana and Kozi's birthday party in 1997.  Which of you smarty-pants knows who Kozi is pretending to be?  Who is Gackt dressed up as?  Don't ask me who Mana is dressed as, I don't know, but it's a good look for her/him.

I always want to read more into this event than perhaps is merited, so I'll keep my commentary to myself.

Yep, Mr. Handsome is hiding under that mask. Wonder if he actually liked the DV character,or if he wanted to avoid upstaging the birthday kids with his radiant visage.

Biologically accurate (or so I assume.) The Japanese language has ways to avoid gender-pegging people. English needs a pronoun that means "what I wear and who I sleep with are none of your business."
