The only difference between a HCG & a Preg. is that you get the raw number with the HCG rather than just a true or false... and the report for HCG comes with the following guide: 2-6 for premenopause, 4-8 for postmenopause (and I'm misspelling menopause, I'm sure) and anything >10 is pregnant.

In computer science terms, the preg test would be:
if( HCG > 10 ) return pregnant!
else return Not Pregnant.
