Is it wrong that the part I really want to see from this universe is the Ianto/Donna meetup? The two of them together would be beyond spectacular, especially the way you write them.

Oh, Ianto and Donna are a bone fide force of nature in thsi universe! Since I'm already serious AU-ing canon I decided that that nonsense about her being lobotomised by the Doctor just wasn't going to be allowed to stand. Plus I ran with the idea that was in one of the deleted scenes that Donna found her way to Cardiff before she found the Doctor for the second time.

That would depend on the timeline a lot, though, wouldn't it? I mean, if she came to Cardiff because she'd heard rumors about a giant space-devil thing, she might miss the Doctor and Jack completely.
