This is really good - very true to life. And of course Jack knows exactly what to do, and to assure Ianto that this happens to everybody. Just a very charming ending to the nightmare.

Thanks! We've had some horrendous fireworks around our way and since they freaked me out, I started to wonder what they might do to Ianto.

I'm rather fond of Jack's solution in the last paragraph. And it seems very real that Ianto would suffer that kind of lingering trauma, especially after everything he's been through. Very nicely done!

I sort of like the idea of Jack doing a fertility dance (especially since we know he can get pregnant! Heh.)

I adore the kind of story where either Jack or Ianto puts the other back together, and this was beautifully and sensitively written.

*wants to steal them to snuggle up with*

I like them too, which is probably why I'm so mean to the poor buggers! In my own head Ianto and Jack complement one another perfectly, which helps in situations like this. And you'll have to prise them away from m cold, dead hands, missy!

I have a very soft spot for Caring!Jack and Ianto brings out the sweet part of his nature. (Well, in my universe, at least!). And Ianto has all kinds of baggage he has to deal with. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

It occurred to me that everyone seems to assume that Ianto has this OC disorder, but there's no real sign of it on the show. Yes, he keeps the Hub neat, but that doesn't mean he has to be like that in his real life. And I sort of like the idea of him drinking tea on the quiet, as well! *grin*
