So, so sorry for disappearing like this. Some words of wisdom for those of you reading this.

1. Whoever invented FarmVille, Cafe World, FishVille et al should be killed. Slowly.

2. Never, ever miss the team meeting where they will be deciding who organises this year's department Christmas party

Did you ever decide on what you're getting for a new computer?

I am getting up half an hour earlier just to sort out all the crops, dishes, etc! And I once stayed up until 2am because I completely miscalculated one of the cooking times!!!

I have a laptop! Am now transferring all the stuff off my long-suffering housemate's computer and on to the shiny! At the moment it is called Ianto because it is sleek and black and a bit mysterious.

So what are you planning for the department's Christmas party? You have my sympathy.

It's like trying to herd cats! It took me a solid two weeks to get them to settle on a date and then it came to where we were going to eat.... *shudders* Mind you, it's absolutely ridiculous how stupid the more upmarket restaurants are about vegetarian food. I mean, one option on a menu of twenty dishes????

I gave them 16 options on something fun we could do and the beggars quibbled over every single one. It doesn't help that we have a budget of £20 apiece, they don't want to travel more than ten minutes away from work and half of them are a tiny bit snobbish and don't like doing 'common' stuff.

Now we're going to some poncy French wine bar for a 'select' tasting and some French nibbles. I hate wine and think French food is pretentious but at least I got a decision out of them!

Because time I could be using to write is now being devoted to caring for my little unreal empires! *grins*
