Also, I generally stay away from fic that references Ianto's mortality like the plague (even if they are well written)... (because Ianto eventually dying just doesn't fit at all in my personal 'verse), but somehow you managed to do this so that it still fits with how I want things to go, and this interlude could actually take place in my sandbox too.
