very nice. I like that you don't identify who watches the CCTV footage. I like how Jack and Ianto are dancing around one another and how playful they are. I also like that Ianto just doesn't accept Jack back but makes him work for it. I like how unsure Jack is as to how Ianto will respond. And the end is gorgeous.

I definitely wanted them to be playful. And yes, Ianto will make Jack work for his complete capitulation, but I also think he has the sensitivity to realise that Jack hasn't exactly been on a fun vacation while he was away, and that Jack needs at least one of the Team to be openly pleased that he's back. And I had great fun with the ending.

This is wonderful! I love the idea of the cat and the wolf -- such true characterizations... and Ianto could outwait suns if he thought it was necessary feels so right!

Ianto has the patience of the pair. Sometimes he has too much, which is when Jack needs to charge in! And they both strike me as being those kinds of animals. (I really must do the transmorgification story, damn it!) I'm glad you liked it.

'I'll wear that Muse of mine down and she'll comply!'
Good luck. Those Muses can be stubborn little things.

I really liked how you didn't identify who was watching them (it makes if feel more intimate).

Oh, I know, and she can be so contrary, damn it! But then, when I've given up, she'll deliver and I find myself writing like a mad thing. I wanted the watcher to be a little bit mysterious because then we can make her whoever we want.

That really captures them. I like how it's a quiet ungarded moment and that when you can see who they really are and how much they need each other.

I think the only time the two of them ever really and truly let down their guard is in one another's company. And I love to write about those quiet moments, when the rest of the world falls away and it's just them. *goes all mushy*

Aw, I really liked this. It had such a sweetness without being too saccharine. Very nice!

I was going for tender and gentle, so I'm glad that it didn't go too far for you. Thanks for the feedback.
