Another great chapter. I love all of it, but in particular the scene with Kara and Helo. You do such a good job with the two of them, and how he can very gently and quietly be there for her when she just needs a friend. And poor Lee, walking in on that and getting all pissy with Helo. *pets*
Helo is by far one of my favorite people and his relationship with Kara is one of my favorite platonic relationships in canon. And of course, Lee is going to be so jealous of Helo, he can hardly see straight.
Oh Lee, such an air head. I think you've got the characterization of lee down pat: he's thinking of himself and what needs to be done, etc w/o taking into consideration how Kara will handle the situation. SO MUCH LOVE FOR HELO, OMG!!!

I'm super glad you got what I was trying to say about love being hard. Somehow when I was writing this, I just knew that Zak would have thought love was easy where as Lee knows how important it is for you to work at it. And I'm so glad you think my characterizations are dead-on. That's a very high compliment. :)
Another great chapter! I love how you start out with the crew's perspective of their relationship and how gone on Kara he is. For once Kara is the one doing the overthinking and Lee is just acting on how he feels! I like this role reversal a whole lot. The scene with Helo was great, and I love Lee ambushing Helo in the head to get answers. Great stuff here, can't wait for more!
Fine-if Kara wanted a fight, he’d give her one. He didn’t want to hurt her, not again, but he wouldn’t sit idly by and let her determine the fate of their relationship.
I always thought that if Lee really put his mind to it, he'd be able to get through to Kara, he just never took the chance. So, in my fic, he's going to. :)
