When Inspiration Strikes

You never know where inspiration will strike, do you?

While on a recent field trip with my middle grade students, I suddenly had a fabulous new idea.

A shiny, spectacular idea!

I started to jot it down, and before I knew it, I didn’t just have an idea, but an entire plot!  I was floored.  I don’t believe I’ve ever had an idea form quite so quickly.

I just finished reading my notes to Alex and she thinks it's a great plot as well. I just have to "find" my MC now.
