He rubbed his neck as he looked around at the people having a grand time at Rin's party. Huey wasn't physically feeling up to doing too much due to the insanity of the previous day. But he had promised the birthday girl that he would be at her party and he tried to live up to his words. So there he was, watching the gathered people while wondering what activity he should get involved in.

Spying Huey among the crowd, Rin immediately excused herself from the conversation she was having and walked over to him. She knew he hadn't had it easy the day before, but he seemed alright so far. Good that Shalimar had been willing to come help him - Rin would've done it herself, but she knew she wasn't really cut out for it.

All she could do was offer him a warm smile as she adressed him: "Hello, Huey-kun! I'm really glad you could make it. Did yesterday go over somewhat well, at least?"

"It went okay despite the surge of those monsters near the end of everything." he said as he roatated his shoulder and returned Rin's smile with a tiny one of his own.

"What, you had to deal with more of them? As if exploding zombie ninjas with guitars weren't enough!", Rin exclaimed. Truly, the aforementioned thing would almost have been funny if it hadn't been honestly dangerous, and to one of her friends, no less.
