Why weren't you happy with this section? I enjoyed it and was actually surprised that Emily knew Emma was a telepath. Though I am one of those readers who doesnt really try to second guess the plot. I like to enjoy the ride and quality of writing!!!

Did you have this intention when you wrote Faces?

In general this section could have done with a bit more time to go over it. One section was actually written on the day of posting, and it kind of shows. And in specific, I'm a little unhappy with some of the thought processes around the whole pastry revenge thing. I'll probably try and push out a touched up version at around the time I post the next part.

Another good reason for pushing back the next section is that it's probably going to require a certain amount of finesse, which will probably benefit from a bit of extra polish.

Emily was originally going to find out about Emma being a telepath after she left, when Emily would put some effort in finding out about her. But Emma managed to push that plot ahead of schedule, as she has a tendency to do, with her dinner stunt.

Sigh. Main characters. Can't live with them, can't write without them.

Very nice follow-up with Garcia--I enjoyed Emily's response about the revelation of Emma's telepathy and how she's dealing with the dinner aftermath. Looking forward to her 'talk' with JJ.
