Well written. Sad ending but at that point what other ending did she have. :(

Thanks! If I wanted to stick to canon, it always had to end with her death, sadly. At least this way, she had some agency in the whole matter. The whole being involuntarily strung out, only with moments of lucidity so that actually know what's happening to them, early struck me as a story idea, and I hope I did it justice.

Incidentally, if you haven't seen the web series of Carmilla on YouTube, you might want to. If nothing else, the central love triangle that's shaping up is between three girls, so it might be relevant to your interests.
