That's a pretty cool ending. Their big fight was a fun shift and then them both getting help from psychologists as they're both psychologists (but I know for a fact, that doesn't lead to 'inner peace')is a great way for this to go.

A couple idle thoughts I had while reading are that Emily would likely look into a disaster of that magnitude (school bus of children) or already be familiar with it and also that -- though Emma has come a long way in the trust department -- Emma still hasn't opened up to Emily in the name and mutation realm: that should be a really interesting follow-up story.
Thanks for writing, it's been fun and quite an emotional journey. Good complexity of emotions for the characters.

Is this a good time to point out that this isn't actually the end of Faces, there's one more chapter left to go?

As for your comments about Emily - you might very well think that, but I couldn't possibly comment. I would, however, note that Falling does cover a lot of this story from Emily's perspective.

Thanks for the insights. I did appreciate them, I was just a little amused for reasons that you will doubtless come to.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the sex scenes. They're the first we've ever written (and by we I mean Louisa -- I still haven't) and it's good to know that they worked. They're probably original because Louisa hasn't really read much smut before, so she's using her own words for the most part.
