Thank you. I think that this was our favourite scene to write as well, but then we are both unrepentant geeks and hence predisposed to find certain elements of this cute.
My original plan for this scene did actually involve sex, Louisa suggested that it'd actually work better without and, on further thought, I agreed.
Being an open and proud geek myself, I loved the way you described Emily when she was talking about her book - "her face lit up and she spoke with excitement, animation and a great deal of enthusiastic gesturing with her hands" - exactly how I get...funny.
Really love the way your write Emma and Emily. I look forward to your updates.
