The room is in that strange, ethereal state of half-light where the sun has just started to rise and is coming in under the curtains. A young man is sitting in a low chair bent over a guitar so his hair obscures his face and his eyes are hidden in shadow. Long fingers stretch from chord to chord, a slow complex dance across the strings, and his bony wrist is bent at an almost painful angle to reach all the chords so they don't blur
